Student ActivityStudents are set a research project in which they independently research one human health issue that has been solved or managed. They must then use the webcamera tool to record a 3 minute presentation on their research topic. These videos will be compiled and shared with the class.
Students will be provided with a scaffolded assignment rubric that outlines the project requirements. Students must describe the health issue and the research and findings used to resolve it. The intention of using the webcamera tool rather than having class presentations is that it will take up less lesson time, create a pool of study materials for all students to use later, and give students an opportunity to use an ICT tool to record and review their presentation skills. |
